Our Story
Boldwill, formerly known as Iron Roots, is a Dutch brand founded with the mission to create a healthy and sustainable alternative to regular sportswear. We’ve always found it weird that sports inherently makes you healthier, but the sportswear that you workout in neither is healthy for you or the planet. That is what we are here to change.
As this change towards better practices is a slow one, we saw a deep connection with sports and nature itself. Both in nature and sports, incremental progress is the driver behind change and this philosophy is what drives the brand too. Understanding that creating the most healthy and sustainable products doesn’t happen overnight, and that this goal morphs and adapts over time. We aim to inspire you to reach your own goals through natural progression.

For ourselves the natural progression philosophy is something we hold close in our pursuit towards plastic free sportswear. Making all sportswear without plastic is currently not possible, but with incremental steps in the right direction, we will make it happen.
